Threshold Language text Threshold Language

“Threshold Language” means a language that has been identified as the primary language, as indicated on the MEDS (Medi-Cal Eligibility Data System), of 3,000 beneficiaries or five percent of the beneficiary population, whichever is lower, in an identified geographic area.
Total Eligibles text Total Eligibles

The total number of individuals certified eligible for the month of eligibility. Certified eligibles are those beneficiaries deemed qualified for Medi-Cal by a valid eligibility determination, and who have enrolled into the program. This classification excludes beneficiaries who have not met a monthly share-of-cost obligation.

F (Final)

Certified eligible counts with a status of “P” are preliminary and subject to change. A specific month’s eligibility count is considered complete for statistical reporting purposes 12 months after the month’s end, and indicates a status “F” for final.
